Donegal Yarns is located in the village of Kilcar, Co. Donegal Ireland. Our mill can trace its heritage to the early tradition of hand spinning, which dates back centuries. Irish tweed yarns were spun, woven and knitted in local homes.
We produce ‘The Genuine Donegal Tweed’ which has earned world-renowned recognition.
All products are made in Ireland.  Donegal Yarns Spinning Mill operates a complete vertical production process from raw wool, through dyeing, blending, carding and spinning to a finished multi-colour flecked yarn targeted at the weaving, knitting and craft industries.
We offer stock supported ranges and a custom bespoke service.

•    Galánta = Nm 6/1 & Nm6/2 – 80% Merino / 10% Cashmere / 10% Silk

•    Kilcarra Tweed Nm1.6/1 – 100% Pure New Wool
•    Irish Heather Nm4.5/1, Nm4.5/2, Nm4.5/3 - 60% Fine Irish Wool / 40% New Zealand Wool
•    Galway Wool – Nm4/1 & Nm4/2 – 100% Irish Wool
