At Pitti Filati 95, the international competition Feel the Yarn®- Master Edition returns, organized by CPF - Consorzio Promozione Filati and aimed at students specializing in knitwear.
There will be a total of three winners at the 15th edition of “Feel The Contest 2024 – Master Edition,” which, after selecting 36 participants this past January from a multitude of candidates from various countries (Italy, Japan, Germany, England, the United States, Denmark, France, Poland, Hungary, Israel, China, Norway, Poland), is now gearing up for the final stages. To be awarded on June 26 at Pitti Filati will be not only an “Absolute Winner,” who will receive a cash prize of 5,000 euros to continue studies in the knitwear field and a yarn prize to create their own collection, but also a “Second Place” winner, who will receive 2,000 euros to further their education, and a “Social Winner,” Mattia Zenere, selected last May 24 through online voting.

All the outfits of the 36 participants in the Contest, which for the 2024 edition has chosen "Contradictions" as its theme, will be displayed during the Florentine show. During the event, only the finalists will undergo further evaluation. The talent that rises to the top of the podium will be determined by an International Final Jury together with the fair visitors, whose votes will count for a lesser percentage compared to those of the jury members.
