Shima Seiki Italia has been participating at Pitti Immagine Filati, from many years, as an important showcase for exhibiting its samples collections, created to show the capabilities of Shima Seiki machines.
The designer VITTORIO BRANCHIZIO signs Shima Seiki Italia collections, which are capable of expressing the beauty, down to details, of the knitting art. By combining style, yarn research, and ever higher technical skills, Shima Seiki Italia shows its samples collection to disclose the absence of limits. In addition to the exhibitions, Shima Seiki Italia dispays its samples collection, made available to brands and customers companies, in its Showrooms.
The showroom represents a space dedicated to the exhibition of Shima Seiki samples. A reality in which you can discover the latest collections, both coming directly from Shima Seiki Total Design Center Dept. (Wakayama – Japan) and realized in Shima Seiki Italia. Thanks to the display of Shima Seiki samples, it is possible to assess the potential of knitting machines and disclose the trends of fashion market. Shima Seiki Italia S.p.A, is a subsidiary company of Shima Seiki Mfg. Ltd., a company leader in manufacturing and sale of electronic flat knitting machines and design system Apex.
Shima Seiki is producing and selling a software for design, modeling and programming, related to knitwear but also to apparel industry in general, SDS ONE APEX, as well as computerized cutting machines and inkjet printers, and the management software called KnitPLM®. “Ever Onward” is company’s motto, and it perfectly describes the spirit enlivening Shima Seiki.

YARNBANK is a web service for searching and viewing yarns from around the world. Yarn data can furthermore be downloaded and used for creating virtual samples, contributing to efficiency in product planning as well as sustainable manufacturing. Shima Seiki Italia is available to our customers of course, but also to all brands, style departments, designers, academies and schools who are interested in learning about the wonderful world of knitwear.
