Pitti Immagine Filati, the leading international trade show for yarns and knitwear, returns to the Fortezza da Basso from 21 to 23 January 2026.
The event will showcase the collections of the most important Italian and international spinning mills, future trends explored in the new Research Area, and the proposals of the special sections KnitClub, CustomEasy and the Institutional Area. All yarn trends for Spring/Summer 2027 will be on display, with a total of 103 companies presenting their new collections at the show.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ICE Agency for the Pitti Immagine Fashion Fairs 2026
The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ICE – the Italian Trade Agency for the promotion abroad and internationalization of Italian companies – are supporting the role of Florence within the internationalization strategy of Italian fashion through their backing of Pitti Immagine’s 2026 fashion fairs. This support represents a fundamental contribution to the incoming program for top international operators and to communication activities.
UniCredit is Main Partner of Pitti Immagine
Since 2020, UniCredit has stood alongside Pitti Immagine as the main partner of its trade fairs. Through this synergy, the bank confirms its role as an active partner for companies in the sector on issues of innovation, sustainability, and internationalization, with the goal of supporting them in addressing the challenges linked to the evolution of the fashion industry. This commitment also extends to education and training. One example is the creation of the CFMI Academy, launched thanks to the partnership between the Centro di Firenze per la Moda Italiana, Pitti Immagine, and UniCredit.

CFMI Academy. The operational research project for fashion students continues and evolves
Promoted by the Centro Firenze per la Moda Italiana, with UniCredit as Main Partner and Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda ETS together with Polimoda as Educational Partners, CFMI Academy 2026 confirms its focus on the development of entrepreneurship.
The CUSTOMEASY and KNITCLUB sections
Customeasy is a project curated by Maurizio Brocchetto, conceived to explore the various aspects of customization and to offer visitors an increasingly broad exhibition experience. KnitClub, the section dedicated to high-quality knitwear manufacturers, confirms its presence alongside the Research Area on the Lower Level of the Central Pavilion.
FEEL THE CONTEST 2026 - MASTER EDITION
The contest dedicated to the world of knitwear by Feel the Yarn returns with its 17th edition. The mood boards of 34 contestants, paired with 34 spinning mills from the Feel the Yarn group and selected from over 150 applications, will be presented during Pitti Filati 98 at the FTY stand.
VINTAGE SELECTION. The reference fair for vintage enthusiasts
Vintage Selection No. 45, the reference event for vintage clothing and accessories, will take place from Wednesday 21 to Friday 23 January 2026 at the Padiglione delle Ghiaia of the Fortezza da Basso. The theme of this edition is LINKing to the future.
