The special event-installation of the Master in Creative Knitwear Design of Accademia Costume & Moda and Modateca Deanna
On the occasion of Pitti Immagine Filati 90, from 2 to 4 February 2022, the Final Works and Industry Projects by the students of the Academic Master in Creative Knitwear Design of Accademia Costume & Moda and Modateca Deanna will feature in the “Knitwear Parade” special event within the entrance forecourt of the Stazione Leopolda in Florence.
The Master course, now in its fifth edition, renews the collaboration with Pitti Immagine through a different and innovative “happening,” promoting the creativity of its young designers and the precious partnership with industry companies.
A special installation featuring 78 knitwear looks, representing the final collections and Industry projects of the Master course's young designers, “Knitwear Parade” will welcome visitors at the Stazione Leopolda. An event within the event, championing the Made in Italy supply chain, with its knitwear companies, yarn manufacturers, laboratories, and all those that promote the unique Italian "know-how" blending technology and craftsmanship. The Final Works and Industry Projects by the CKD Master students have always been the result of close collaboration between the world of education and the industry, being an example of generosity, foresight and dedication, experimentation, and style.
Pitti Filati becomes the exhibiting stage for the students' projects, brought to life thanks to a collaboration with the supply chain, which becomes itself protagonist and passes down its know-how to the new generations, in a continuous exchange between professionalism and creativity.
